Best salsa and chips bar. Chicken is cooked to perfection on the grill, the portions of sides and tortillas are generous + agua fresca drinks fountain. Place is self service and ambiance is as casual as it gets. Eating with your hands is allowed!
Food so good and tasty plus free chips and real flower and corn tortillas better than El pollo loco . Service very good .
Was starving and I was around the Brownsville are. Stopped by to eat some chicken. They had a deal of 8 pieces of chicken for 9.99$. Service was amazing from the manager Jose. He offered us some refills and a complimentary dessert that goes well with the Horchata. Awesome service! Will come again. won't forget this experience!

Excellent experience. The restaurant was very clean, bathrooms were clean. The servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend you visiting and enjoy some great food.
I absolutely loved Pollo Palenque's chicken, rice and beans! Not to mention, both the flour and corn tortillas were so delicious and fresh. My favorite were the flour tortillas. The tostadas also tasted very fresh and the avocado salsa was so amazing!! Overall, I really like my entire meal and I will definitely be back for more!
